Effective date: October 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of The Nonprofit Calendar at thenonprofitcalendar.org and thenonprofitcalendar.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by AYNI TX LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("AYNI," "we," "us"). By using the Site or submitting an event, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site is a free calendar of trainings, conferences, meetups and webinars of interest to people who work with or lead nonprofit organizations. Using the Site is free, and listing an event is free.
2. Listings are for information only
We add events from the organizer's own pages and check those pages when we add a listing. Organizers control their events, and dates, times, prices, locations and other details can change or be cancelled without notice to us. Before you register, pay or travel, confirm the details with the organizer. Registration, payment and attendance take place with the organizer, under the organizer's own terms. We are not a party to any transaction between you and an organizer.
3. No endorsement
A listing does not mean that we endorse, sponsor or recommend an event, an organizer or anything an organizer offers, and it does not mean that an organizer endorses us. Unless the Site says so, we are not affiliated with the organizers we list.
4. Resources and links to other websites
The Site links to resources and websites run by others, including partners, AYNI and Ember (a software product of AYNI TX LLC). Each resource is labelled with its source. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of websites we do not operate, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
5. Guides are general information
Our guides, checklists and "Best days" notes are general information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Rules can change, and your situation may differ, so check the cited source or consult a qualified professional before acting on them.
6. Submitting an event
When you submit an event, you confirm that:
- you are the organizer or are authorized by the organizer to submit it;
- the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you will tell us if it changes; and
- the event is lawful and is not misleading.
You keep any rights you have in the material you submit. You grant AYNI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, display, format, summarize and edit for length and clarity the event information you submit, on the Site, in our emails and calendar feeds, and on our social media accounts, for as long as the event is listed and afterwards in archived pages and posts. We may decline, edit or remove any submission at any time, for any reason. We do not publish your name or email address.
7. Corrections and removal
If you organize a listed event and want something changed or removed, email team@ayni.io from an address we can connect to the organizer, and we will update or remove the listing promptly.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, unlawful or infringing content, or events that are not what they claim to be;
- use the Site or its forms to send spam or promotions unrelated to an event;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its server or its data, or interfere with its operation;
- send automated submissions, or copy the Site's content in bulk by automated means in a way that burdens the Site; or
- use the Site in violation of any law.
We may block access or remove content to enforce these terms.
9. Our content
The Site's design, text, summaries, guides and compilation of listings belong to AYNI TX LLC or its licensors. You may view, print, save and share links to the Site's pages for your own use and your organization's use. You may not republish the Site's content in bulk without our written permission. Facts about events, such as their dates and locations, are not owned by us.
10. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AYNI TX LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from an event, an organizer, a change or cancellation, or your reliance on a listing, guide or linked resource. Because the Site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
